Ok, so this will be a long comment guys...I am not from the USA, I am not even a Latina...I am from Central Europe...because of this as a result, I was over 30, when I learned who Selena was....before that, I had a huge love and respect for the Latino culture, the music and the Latino-people...I have seen the movie with Jennifer Lopez, this gave me the interest, I have started to dig deep into Selena's life: I watched many Selena interviews and performances...I was probably 7-8 years old in 1995 when she died tragically...this was a huge loss, it still does have an impact on people 30+years after 😞 It is so hard to describe Selena by only using 1word....I have to use a whole long sentence to describe her: a beutiful human being from outside and inside.... amazing, wonderful, pure...she could sing without playback, she had a unique, pure, soft voice....when she was performing, she put all her heart and soul into it....she was sooo down to earth, nowdays unfortunately I miss this quality in our celebrities... When she died, she was at the peak of her carrier, can U imagine what more she could achieve if she was not killed...many more....a day before she died, she told her family members that she wants to start a family, she was planning her future...ironically she died the next day....whenever I hear the name Yolanda Saldivar, I instantly go crazy....Now sitting in jail, I don't think this woman ever realized what she had done to the latino-tejano community...we lost a beautiful person and a talented singer at a very young age...there is a possibility that Saldivar would be released in 2025(next year)....if this happens, I hope that she will receive the "real punishment" she deserves because I am not so sure if she did in prison....I am certain there are many angry people out there...we still remember Selena, we will never forget her, she will always be in our hearts...but, we still remember who Yolanda is and what she had done....period☝️
